You previously mentioned having G22 and G23C so I just added G17 to the count.

I have a G19 RTF2 with gills SN# PED... I have to say I don't like the gills at all!!! They look really nice though. With the "teflon" finish and the gills coupled with my naturally moist hands I tend to not get a real secure grip on the slide. I like the straight serations much better. I may end up getting a Lone Wolf Slide to replace it. I really like the LWD slides and I sell them anyway. www.GlockKrieg.com

My duty gun, a 23 RTF2, has the gills, serial number PET 5XX, and a fired case dated in May 2010. My personal 23 RTF2 doesn't have the gills, serial number PGA 8XX, and has a fired case dated 2/11/2010. Go figure.
I think the gills give the guns a lot more character, but frankly I find the straight serrations a lot more functional.

For what it's worth, I was at a GSSF event in about April 2010 and I asked a factory rep why the fish gills weren't going to be on the Gen4's. He told me that it was because the curved serrations were more expensive to machine and that they weren't that popular. Dave Sevigny was standing next to the rep and he said that he thought the curved serrations would have made more sense if they were pointed in the other direction.
Regardless, I like them and I wish my G34 had them.

Mt first and only gun is a Gen3 RTF2 G22 with the gills. I was at the store and had them order the RTF2 Gen3 G22 with night sights, the gills were a bonus and now I want them on all my future glocks. They should have at least had them as an optional extra.

NUUxxx born 01-15-2010. Haven't even got to test it out yet. Them gills really grab you when racking the slide. Maybe mine are extra sharp but I like it.

Just to add to my previous post #280.
Add 2 Glock 23C RTF2 with the serrations. Consecutive numbers both NGD.

G23 with the gills. Factory test fire date is November 2010. Wish I could obtain another. There are 2 9mm's at a local store, new, with the gills. Didn't look at the model because I'm not interested in owning a 9.
