The Cutting Edge

Extremely happy with both knives. Beating on the ESEE izula, and it's holding up wonderfully.

The Spyderco Para2 is by far my favorite folding knife. Perfect IMO, used for EDC.

Came home, did a few searches, went back the next day and got it. Absolutely love it. Just a bit smaller than my Onslaught, a hair heavier, and the action is slick as snot. Locks up like a bank vault too. Only thing I don't like about it is it means my Benchmades won't get much pocket time now
I know the feeling. My new Umnumzaan will be here next week. I have a feeling that my Emersons, Benchmades, and Spydercos will be getting neglected for a while.

Now what I need to do is find a reasonable price on a Hinderer XM-18 or preferably XM-24.

I have heard lots of great things about both knives, they should serve you for a lifetime.

I'm not a knife-guy, but that is beautiful. Really, really beautiful.

Went to the site and $ was as expected.

Oh well, added to the list of must-haves. One day.

They are a little pricey but well worth it IMO. Paul is a true craftsman and uses top quality materials. the grind lines are perfect and the finish is immaculate. Not to mention the 1/4" spine.

They are defiantly a love it or hate it design. I am one of the few that absolutely loves them. I have ~10 or so of them. They are very nice once you figure out how to open them. The Russlock is by far my favorite CaseXX design followed by Copperlocks and Canoes. This is the 2011 Calypso Blue, it's the only one to ever have a drop point blade. All other Russlocks are Clip point. I hope they start making them with this blade more, I really like it.
