Glock 35 conversion barrel.

Hello all. I know I am new in here but kind of have a touchy question. I am pretty new to firearms and shooting but it is now something i really enjoy. I easily drop 200 rounds when i go to the range which is once to twice a week. I have also figured out that ammunition becomes expesive depending on caliber and quantity. In my collection i have a glock 35 gen 3 and a glock 27 gen 4. I love them both, both weapons function flawlessly. i have considered purchasing one of the Lwd 40-9 conversion barrels to be able to shoot another caliber and save money on ammunition. I have yet to here anything negative about the product until today. I was calling local gunshops searching for one of the barrels and one of the persons i spoke to made the comment "no we dont carry those barrels, after 1000 rounds your slide is worn out." Now i am not wanting to start any arguments but does anybody have any long term reports using these barrels? Sorry for the long winded post.

You got bad information, the guy is simply clueless. 9mm Conversion barrels are built to accommodate the larger breach face of the 40 slide. They are built to fit exactly the same as the original barrel.
