FN 57 pistol

Went to Buds and shot asst. rounds thru my 5.7 pistol. You can talk it down all you want but even with the weak SS197 round it's a BAD pistol to have to be shot with. I would grab it and go in an emergency.

I agree on all points.

I tried for years to hate the Five seveN. I really did. Then I was offered one as part of a trade, shot it, and loved it. Research on actual shooting results made it clear to me that the little cartridge is pretty effective. Yep, I like it.

finally broke down and bought one to compliment my SBR PS90,between the ps90's 50 round mags and the FiveSevens 20 round magazines,it makes a nice BUG setup

I like the accuracy.

I'd still rather have a a shotgun or a .45 for SD, but the 5.57 is a handy little round for when the bad guy is wearing body armor.

I had one and overall was very impressed with it. I sold it to fund another project.....it's on my list of guns to get again.....especially before the next election.

My black 5.7 pistol has been FLAWLESS. The dark earth one will not reliably feed or cycle SS-192 of which I have 3,000 rounds put back. I called FNh and they said to shoot 500 rounds of the SS-197 to loosen up the recoil spring!!!! No shipping labels supplied. Fnh weapons are usually high quality but customer service SUCKS.
