The P30 slide-lock lever rattle issue

Has anyone ever done anything to stop their rattle on that right side slide lock lever? I notice when walking around I can hear it rattling sometimes.

An $800+ gun should not rattle, IMO. Does the P2000 or SK do this?

This is considered normal on the P30, and also on other HK pistols that share the ambi slide release, including the HK45, HK45C, P2000 and P2000SK.

I've stopped the slight rattling of the lever on my P2000SK against my M-tac by putting a small piece of self-adhesive velcro (soft side) on the inside of the holster where the lever makes contact.

Although... this is just another reason to really love the USP.

Mine all do it. I always felt it shouldn't at this level of gun.

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I've been carrying mine for quite a while now and have well over 1,000 rds through it and the right side slide lock lever doesn't move. The P2000's I've handle at gun stores flop around right out of the display case. I've read a number of times you can remove the right side lever and it has no effect on the function of the left side lever. If I develope a rattle I don't like, that's what I'll do. I've also heard of putting something on the frame just under the right side lever to hold it still. I can't remember what it was though. Some kind of tape maybe?

My P30 and P2000 sk both do it. I don't really feel that it's a issue. When they are in a holster, I don't even notice it.

The P2000 series do it too, but not when in the holster.
