Was at a gun show last weekend and was told that they could sell me a RONI body for a Glock without a NFA stamp. Reason being that it's not an SBR until you put a glock in it. That sounded odd to me so I thought I'd ask.
The guy was working a dealer booth and I didn't buy mainly because he seemed more interested in watching a video on some girls phone than helping.
His words were, "It's just a piece of plastic, I could sell it to a child."
Like I said, seemed incorrect so I thought I'd ask.

A stock is not an SBR.
If you use it to change the configuration of a firearm, you have an SBR.

Thanks zak! Like I said it seemed odd, still does. Stupid rules, it's a pistol but put a stock on it and it's an SBR. Go figure.
