You have a point & for most worst case scenarios I agree..

..but consider this..

..they suppress well & you have commonality of ammo.

You did a fine job!

More on this week...

Ordered 4 boxes of non-corrosive 7.62x54R (from Novosibirsk Cartridge Plant ...same plant as 7N1) for testing

Ordered Wolff XP Magazine Springs for the Glock 19...(OEM springs are getting weak)

Ordered 4 boxes of Silver Bear 9mm 145grn HP for testing in the suppressed G19..

..wanting a reliable, inexpensive, barely subsonic load I can stock-up on!

Investing lots-of-time in projects..

..but on my slack time completed "The Hunger Games" trilogy!

If you like rebellion to tyranny....good series!

My youngest daughter also loves the series..

..we both plan to see the movie on the 23rd!

I bought spare springs, extractors, recoil spring assemblies, and pins for my G21, G26, G30, and G34. Also got a 20 piece lock pick set as well as an Ontario Machete and a Kabar Becker companion knife with micarta handles.

It's my birthday. I get to buy fun stuff!

Picked up some more first-aid supplies, canned goods, and cut some downed tree limbs for firewood. Also refilled a propane tank.

Purchased "The Saints" a history of the Rhodesian Light Infantry. Great insights on what happened to Rhodesia and how the rest of the Western world left Rhodesia to fight for themselves. Really interesting group of chaps the RLI. Brave guys from Rhodesia and other parts of Africa (US as well) that fought off the Communist ZIRPA and ZANLA.

had to bring my wife back to reality while she was watching doomsday preppers today. she kept texting me at work about barbed wire and molotove coctails from barter stashes of alcohol and such

did get her charged up about getting a bigger garden going this year and possibly building a privacy fence and maybe chickens too.

Don't worry, won't happen unless you are stocking Everclear or maybe bacardi 151.

I have used 151 as a fire starter on occasion but I doubt it would make a suitable molotov. It will burn right from the bottle but it is a weak flame.

Molotovs are usually gasoline mixed with dish soap to make it stick like napalm.

Updating my week...

..one of my relatives (an FFL/SOT) discussed the merits of a new lightweight, compact, inexpensive, well performing .22 LR takedown can he is a dealer for..

..& I bit!

It is an XCaliber Genesis Micro with the Stainless Baffle option.

http://www.thesilencerstore.com/inde...products_id=27

It will be the new primary can for the Lasergrip equipped Beretta 21A..

..& the AWC Titan III will either be secondary or on another host.
