Illinois high school investigated for appearance by NFL's Colt McCoy
As a UTexas alum, this one caught my attention, and how truly sad and pathetic some of the Statist busy-bodies have become.

"He shared his faith and played with them and threw the ball around a little bit," Leonard said of McCoy. "It was unbelievable experience. I'm sorry if any rules were broken, but in this instance, if I was wrong, I don't want to be right."

So nowadays, even a once-in-a-lifetime chance to spend some quality time with a sports idol is considered a violation of some obscure rule?

I doubt any violations occurred or that anything will come of this. From what the article says, it looks like someone from the local public school district made the complaint, most likely just a rival school trying to cause problems.

The title gives it away. This didn't happen in the United States of America, this occurred in the Soviet Socialist People's Republic of Illinois.
