Fast and Furious fizzling?

On O'Reilly last night on Fox, O'Reilly had on Bret Hume to talk about Fast and Furious. They both seemed to come to the conclusion that nothing would come of the investigation. I don't know whether that is true or not, but it is safe to say that most of the media is ignoring the story - a much bigger scandal than Watergate. I don't quite understand why Issa and Grassley haven't brought perjury charges against Holder. While I understand that they are trying to obtain more information that the justice dept is stonewalling on, the reality is if they are going to make charges they had better make them soon. Once we are near the political conventions there will be zero coverage of this story until after the election.

It's my opinion that Fast-and-Furious needs to stay around for data collecting purpose until early October.

Make these issue BIG in October:
-Fast and Furious,
-Secret Services (who apparently likes Fast and Furious in a different sense),
-GSA misuse of tax money for joy rides in Sin city,
-Solendra investment by Gov't is not a speculation while oil price bidding is speculation,
-"If I have a son, he would look like Trayvon."
-"The Boston police acted stupidly."
-talking to the Russian Premier, "I will have more flexibility after the election."
-trials of election frauds in Ohio, BlackPnther intimidation at the booth,
-rejection of pipeline construction.

They have to be well-timed with respect to the election.

There are over 80,000 FAF documents that fall under Issa's Subpoena. DOJ has turned over 6,000 highly redacted pages. Less than 10%. It's time to ENFORCE the *^%^^ LAW. Take FBI agents, armed, over to justice and take the damn files. Impound the computers, force people to testify that the administration is hiding.

It is fizzling, but Katie Pavlich's new book on FAF should help re-ignite the debate. MSM is crickets chirping on FAF - what's new? Issa has to keep pounding and keep pounding. If Holder doesn't comply with subpoena - file contempt charges and throw him in Jail until they turn over the documents. Holder is not above the law.

I'll bet you a dollar to s donut he is.

Socialist, liberal, Demorats are all above the law. We have a senator right here in New Orleans that has been convicted of multiple felonious that is still walking the streets. His wife and sister were also convicted of felonies. They are also still walking the streets. If we mere Peons are convicted of a felony we go straight from the court room to prison while the “ELATE”, if even brought to trial, are allowed to walk away while filing appeal after appeal. Equal justice my Arss!

Nailed it my friend! I would add his disaster of economic stimulus (stimulus is a strong term for what he's done, as well as the Federal Reserve for that matter), as well as his cowardly approach to standing by Isreal in their threats from Iran. IMHO the US should always have Isreal's back. I would also add his "apology tour" that he went on during his first year, basically going to any country that would listen to him apologize for how "bad" the US has been in the past. Shame shame Barack Hussein!! Not to mention, before we know it North Korea is going to have a nuke, and BO has sat around with his thumb up his tail and done nothing.

My sense is Issa and Grassley are being counseled to not take fast and furious to the next level - contempt of congress charges and what follows. They undoubtedly have the basis for those charges now, based on the limited documents provided and blocked access to certain individuals in the justice dept. I could be wrong on this, but I suspect the reason for the advice/direction they are receiving (I think) is to avoid the appearance of an election-year witch hunt that may backfire in the MSM. I also get the sense that may be behind Boehner not taking the dems to task at every turn - fear it will backfire.

Good point. What I think should happen is that we don't let this sitting president have a chance to issue "pardons" on his last days.

If Holder is convicted during Obama's term (first, and hopefully not second), he would get the pardon as well as all his radical friends from the underground.
