Lotta envy here. i had my hands almost on a 581 a couple of years ago. It was part of an estate and someone put it in my LGS before clear ownership was established....So...my generous offer did not win the day

Well that stinks.....I wasn't looking for this particular gun, but it was just down the road and the price was right.
Did the FTF transaction 5 mins from my house. Sure beats shipping and FFL fees.
