Where did you serve overseas?
I was stationed at Peshawar, Pakistan 66-68 and Iraklion, Crete 68-69. Pakistan was a bad assignment (got shot at) and Crete was a great assignment (base by beach).

Deployed to Turkey (05-06), Iraq (08-09), Iraq (10), and Italy (11).
Italy was the best of the locations...in case you were curious.

Well; it wasn't military service but I did do 2008-2010 in Iraq as a civilian contractor; most at Ar Ramadi, with 6 month at TQ.

Wish I still had my Smith & Wesson Model 15 .38 Special! Whoever had it before me really slicked up the action! One of the best on a double-action revolver I've ever held.

Sure, we used to fly 90 day rotations from Pope AFB, NC (C-130e Hercules) to RAF Mildenhall. Two TDY's in 1984 and one in 1985.
