This is my favorite, gun fits snugly, you can run, roll around, whatever, pistol will not come out. Economical, very well made. Have owned 3, still own 2, let 1 go with a trade.
Customer service is excellent, dog chewed one up, sent it back with a letter of lamentation and presto, a new one arrived a week later.

For off-the-shelf economical choice, it ain't bad at all. I have two of the minimalist holsters with accompanied mag pouches. Not custom work for sure, but then they didn't command the price of custom leathers either.

Nate at www.ubgholsters.com makes very nice OWB or IWB and they're fairly reasonable.

My Commander rides in a VMII and it is stupid comfortable and concealable. I have a Sparks Axiom (among other Sparks stuff) on order right now. I cannot wait for it to come.
I ordered a VMII for my Ruger LC9. It seems like a lot of holster for the little gun but the Tagua IWB I am using sucks you know what.

I carry mine in a Black Hills Leather OWB. It's pretty simple, but I've paid more for less, so to speak. Belt, holster, and mag pouch ran me around 150$ shipped with the military discount as I recall. The pic is the same rig, from the BHL website. You can probably find better deals than that elsewhere, but it's the most well made holster I own, and probably the best belt too :p, so no complaints from me. I am also pretty fond of El Paso Saddlery... but I might be biased, they are based in my home town.

I am also a fan of El Paso Saddlery because of its history. For the western/field holster types, I love'em. However, in all fairness and honesty, I don't care much for their concealment leathers. They're crude and the details are rather lacking; specifically with the mag pouches. The retention screws are always misaligned and ill-made. The Street Combat #88's fit is not too exacting. Tight on one gun and loose on another gun.
I used to visit the shop when Bobby McNellis was still alive and he admitted that the shop's speciality isn't concealment type leathers and he didn't believe in hand boning either. He's long dead of cancer now and his son sold the business out to somebody else. I bought some holsters after Bobby's passing and while the quality was still there, the philosophy is more different now with even a bunch more concealment type leathers available.
The thing is that I don't know who they use for craftsmen nowadays. Concealment leathers is a lot different than field type leathers. Way back when, El Paso Saddlery's saddlers were old Mexicans who couldn't speak a lick of English. Not the type that would make IWB/OWB, but the floral carvings and tanning are simply gorgeous with the field holsters.
Here are some samples of western/field holsters from El Paso Saddlery.

Those are beautiful. You might give em' a shot again sometime. Whoever is making their stuff now knows their way around an IWB. I bought one for my Dad a while ago, and he loves it... great fit on his Sig, very comfortable. Only one I own is a Hardin shoulder holster for my blackhawk... and they definitely still know their way around a sixgun holster
Not the best picture in the world... I think I took it to show off my hog hunting set up or something... but you get the idea.

Like I said, I've bought holsters from El Paso under new management and I've no complaints but then I stuck with the western type holsters. I'm about to order a Doc Holiday shoulder rig for my Ruger Blackhawk 9mm Convertible. I've just found others who make much better concealment holsters.
