What do you feed your G 36 ?

Looking for some experienced G 36 owners to share their experiences with Self Defense rounds through the 36.

Thanks,

Bobby

Hornaday critical defense.

This topic tends to get as heated as religion and politics. Great arguments on all sides of the fence (theres more than 2 sides) and everyone is right lol

Id say do research, shoot some different ammo, and make an informed decision as to what works best to carry for you.

Hornady TAP FPD 200 gr. +P

Powerful, reliable, no muzzle flash, accurate, great penetration, no feeding problems, affordable.

It should shoot anything you put in it. I have around 1500 rds through my G36 all kinds of factory stuff from XTP's through Ranger T's WW PDX1, on and on. It has never once had an issue of any kind. I like the XTP's and the WW PDX1's personally, as far as "factory loads go." The rest are all my own hand loads, and they too, are mostly all XTP's in the little G36, and Gold Dot's, about forgot those... All shoot well amigo.

Enjoy your 36 !

I like Federal HST 230gr or Speer gold dot 230gr. Both of these run great in my G36 and are very impressive in these test.
