Greetings from SE USA
Hey all, just bought a model 19, my first polymer pistol. I was around in the early 80s when they came out (I was in junior high) and remember the buzz/controversy about possibly being able to smuggle it thru airports LOL. What a load of hooey! It truly was a revolution, and look now at how many polys there are. Everybody's making one.
Don't have any rounds though it yet, but I'm working on it. I bought it without ever having fired one before in any caliber, the reputation is that good.
Not my first, but it will be my new SD go-to tool. This means I'll have to go out back and get comfortable with it. Hopefully I won't have many problems using target ball. Anyway glad to be here.
