I'm strongly considering buying some of the Hornady CRITICAL line for carrying in my Glock 19. I read from the manufacturer that there is DUTY and DEFENSE, and the differences between the two are listed. One is a heavier round, etc.

Have you tested these? I live in an Urban area and am wondering which round, the DUTY or DEFENSE is more appropriate to carry in my G19. There was a disclaimer on the Hornady sight saying that the DUTY line wasn't optimized for short barrels, but I don't think Id have a problem with that. What is your experience with these rounds, and what would you suggest? I live in Philadelphia, carry my 19 and 2 spare magazines. Thanks, Mister Ayoob.
