Looking for experience (although opinions are appreciated too)
I have 3 Glocks: Model 19 Gen 3 and 2 Model 26's Gen 3.

All are original-standard with no modifications. The 19 is well cared for and has several hundred rounds fired. One of the 26's has maybe 100 rounds and the other only the 2 whose casings are in the brown envelope.

My questions are: Do you see a good reason to install the New York 1 trigger on any/all of these? Would that be likely to make all three guns feel and shoot the same. ? Right now one of the 26's and the 19 feel similar but the other 26 trigger "grinds". (it also shoots the straightest - hate that)
I know the new 26 needs to be broken in. Should I hold off on trigger work until after several hundred rounds?

From personal experience, having instlled the NY1 trigger on a G21SF that I owned, I didn't care for it and promptly removed it. I feel it just made the trigger too heavy, though it did have a much cripser reset. The other thing that I didn't care for was that when disassembling, I had to hold the trigger back, pressure from the spring would force the trigger forward so it was necessary to physically hold the trigger back when dissassembling.

I do the .25 trigger job and add a NY1 trigger spring to all my Glocks. I like the feel of it and don't notice that its any heavier. It feels smoother to me with better re-set. I also add a SS Guide rod and non-captured recoil spring to my 19 & 23 and a SS captured set to the 26. Add Mepro nights sights and you're set.
