My M4 was a marine Desert Camo color. I finally got sick of it and painted it.
No offense to my Devil Dog Brethren.

What's hanging off the fore grip?

Thanks for the reply. I checked it out on Magpul's website. Weird looking for sure, but as long as someone likes it, seems cool to me.

I don't see how they work on a shotgun as you're supposed to wrap your thumb over the barrel.

I looked at some of the Magpul videos where their two instructor guys are using them. They are laying their thumb parallel to the barrel, extended forward and resting on the fore grip. I think they are going for grip consistency since it looks similar to a thumbs forward position with a pistol.
I don't think it's any better or worse based on what I saw in the videos and "looks" a bit strange to me however if it works for them or someone else, more power to them.

Hell, I don't even like 'em on a rifle, was just trying to imagine their effectiveness on a shotgun. Different strokes and all that.

You can't imagine their effectiveness? Not even if you close your eyes and grunt while you imagine as hard as you can?

Finally bit the bullet and sprung for a Magpul shotgun stock for my dedicated home defense 870...and it was worth every penny. It has the best ergonomics of any shotgun stock I've ever used...and I've tried them all.

Nice looking shotgun. You gonna hang one of the triangles off the fore grip too?

Never really thought about it until now...but I wouldn't rule it out.

That's an old-school Surefire 618.

I got one of them on my old Marine Magnum too.....
Also, if you haven't done so, do yourself a favor and buy one of these:

They make the light much better/brighter and it's cheap to boot.

Thanks for the info. I didn't realize there was an 'older version' of the 618. As far as lights on go, I think the 318/618 is the only answer...regardless of its vintage.

It's actually a factory Benelli M2 that was worked over by Rose Action Sports.
Essentially all the things that are in the 3gun edition, except the little 3gun on the side.

Although, mine's of legal length. 18" barrel and 35" OAL, without a recoil pad installed.
Hers was also a 20ga, but, Barrow used a 12ga
gotta love 1930's tactical.
