Isn't it amazing the amount of hate and damage so called clerics can stir up.

We are witnessing the power of a cult of pure hate. Allah is the seed or excuse, but what has sprung from the muhammed cult is nothing but bloody, murderous, senseless, intolerant hatred for all things and others different from those 'true believers'. Savage psychopathic killers masquerade as some sort of *religious* folks.
Sorry, but there it is... hell, they even gleefully slaughter their own.

Absolutely a great parallel.
We have become frivolous, effete, and simple minded enough to load our society to the hilt with a lawyer class and a political class both of which seem to totally disregard the constitution and the traditions upon which it was built.

I've got some mixed feelings on this one. I think the next country we fight, we should actually take everything they own as reparations. Either that or break them completely, and leave them for their neighbors to pick the carcass clean.
The last nukes used in anger, took a warrior society, with a deity as a leader, and turned them into polite businessmen. It's not nice, but it is effective. The longer this struggle continues, the more I'm willing to at least consider it. The day that Iran uncorks a nuke outside their own borders, is the day that I will fully support nuking them into oblivion.
