The more you learn about real events in history the more you realize how little effect "conspiracies" could have in the face of the vagaries of individual decisions.

White House spokesman Jay Carney claims that reports of advance warning to the State Department are false and the Administration had "no actionable intelligence" to act upon in advance of the Sept. 11 attacks on US Embassies in Egypt and Libya.

While I am sure that it had DEEMED the intelligence not actionable, to say that it isn't today is a complete farce.

Or I could have just listened to Osama bin Laden's own stated reasons and goals for the 9/11 attacks and researched from there. The 9/11 Commission Report and the CIA itself confirm the blowback argument. Bankrupting the country, never ending foreign conflicts etc
