getting a g17
should have it in a month new looking g17, box, all goodies. $450. not bad price. ammo costs hepled in my choice. didnt fire as much .40 when i had my g23. live in city.

nice choice, the nine will suit all your needs. Fun and cheap target round, a good hollowpoint can match the .40's performance and you have 17 shots and you can get the +2 or the 33 rnd mag for a SHTF, or just for the cool factor

picked it up yesterday. doesnt even have any marks on the barrel at all!!! shoots fine 100 rnds no problem. now needs ny1 trigger spring and ss guide rod. oh and night sights. the grip is quite different making me miss my g22 i had for a month. but thats a different story. glad its a 9mm cause whats not to like about 17 rnd mags! being my 2nd g17 its never ,well im not making any plans to sell it. tax time next year im gonna buy a case of 9mm and gonna make a lot of trips to the range.

the grip should be the same as a g22. As for the stainless steel guide rod, theres no need. Take that money and by two or three factory replacements. I like to go all stock.

but i like the ss guide rod. and i'm gonna mod it to fit my preference. ive owned 17,19,26,22,23,30. but im gonna stop with these 2.

Congrats on the G17. Its a fine pistol that will serve you well. I recently aquired a very well kept 2nd generation G17 a few days ago. I am waitng to play with this one as well.

Well done.
The G17 is my only and favorite CCW Glock since I got it in 1989. 9x19 cartridges are far less expensive than .40S&W and .45 ACP.

Well the 17 is gone. The guy who bought the 1911 wanted to trade for a 9mm . So I have my springfield back. Looking for a G23 though.

I guess my Adhd knows no bounds. I got My G17 back. Fired it 50 times today. If and when this Ammo scare is over. Gonna reload the heck out of this round.
