Heckler and Koch P2K 357 Sig V1 LEM Light
Holy Moly this thing is a shooter.
Runs 357 Sig like butter.
Fits my hand like a glove.
This has instantly become my new carry gun.

Thanks everybody!
I'd just bought my HK P30 40 LEM a few weeks earlier.
And ran across this NIB P2000 357 LEM for $649?!?
I love the 357 Sig round for Self Defense.
And just couldn't pass up a NIB HK for that price.
Thought this opportunity would pass me by If I didn't jump on it.
Every once in a while things work out.

Sucks that HK is giving up on .357 Sig.

You don't know how much I agree with you.
Range Report Part Two.
Went back to the range with my P30 40, P2000 357 and a boat load of ammo.
Both guns are P series, LEM V1 guns with Big Dots and Hogue grips.
Practically sisters.
( I swapped the P30 Pachmayr for Hogue at the range after some shooting)

The two primary differences to me are the grips and caliber.
As dreamy and the P30 feels just holding her, I clearly and decisively favor shooting the P2K.
Ergonomics, felt recoil, buttery operation and free hand accuracy
are aspects hard to quantify - but undeniable.
I love my new P2K 357 LEM.

I have a gun buying problem, and you are not helping. I own a 9 mm P30 and I really like it, but my biggest gripe is the slide release is too long for my grip style. I shoot thumbs forward, and my right thumb rides the slide release to the extent that it doesn't lock the slide back. I wonder if I could fit a P 2000 slide release on the right side of my P 30?
For a while I was thinking that the P 30 would be the (almost) perfect appendix carry gun for me. But now you have me wondering if the P 2000 isn't the perfect compromise between the USP and the P 30. Do you really like the P 2000 grip better than the P30s? (I have never even held a P2000)

While the .357 Sig cartridge isn't my cup-o-tea, the P2K is a fantastic firearm in any caliber. I have the P2Ksk in .40 and It's easily my favorite sub-compact pistol I've ever owned.
Congratulations!

Couldn't agree with you more on how nice a P2000 shoots. P2000 .40 is my home defense gun, since all my Glocks are modified, I'm always amazed how well I shoot the P2000, it's almost effortless to be accurate with it, if that makes sense - fantastic gun.
And at $649, you got one hell of a deal.

I don't think so. Try the shorty P30 slide release.

IMHO that's exactly what the P2K is.
" Do you really like the P 2000 grip better than the P30s?"
Yes. And Hogue grips make her even better.

I carry a P2000SK in .40 in an ankle holster. It's a handy, comfortable to shoot, compact pistol. Mine has the LEM trigger, which is an excellent feature.

I JUST picked up a P2k in 9mm (my first HK) and I absolutely love it.
I hate when the light sticks out past the muzzle; on my G34 it is just right.

Since I'm not carrying this gun, is there a way to switch out the springs in order to give it a lighter trigger pull? It will strictly be a range gun.

Thank you, Doyle. How does the SK compare to the other one?
I may look into one for CC.
