Would you mind sharing some of your sp101 loading/chrono data for any (all) your favorite sp101 loads? Since I posted about 10mm, I have infact decided to stay with 357 magnum. It would be much appreciated. Message me if it is not appropriate tp post it here. Thanks!

Not mine, but it's very close to the same setup as mine.

First photo is the same gun the day I swapped out the factory grips for prettier ones. My studio setup allowed me to photograph the gun, change the grips, place gun in same spot, photograph it again, then combine the two photos in Photoshop.

How do you like the 2x scope? I'm running 1.5x and am now thinking I should have gone 2x.

Strangely the only rifle I have a pic of.
When I bought it there was a Butler Creek folder on it. I didn't like it so I scrounged a wood stock

Thank you. They are all just "working guns. I have one more Blackhawk that I am customizing slowly.
All of them are likely, or have, been on my hip out in the "pucker brush".

The Blackhawk is my favorite Ruger revolver by far. I've got three of them.

The very first handgun I ever bought was a new 1977 Security Six. I bought it in Ft Lauderdale to avoid the Miami/Dade County 3 day cooling off period. I sold it 2 years later to help fund the purchase of a 1971 GTO.
I bought a stainless steel GP100 the first year they came out. I had it sent to Wilson Combat for a world-class trigger/action job. I later traded the GP100 for a new Sif P220. I needed a carry gun as Texas just started issuing CHLs.
I'm now the proud owner of a stainless steel 7.5" Redhawk in .44mag. It's topped with a 1.5x Simmons scope. It's taken many hog at the deer lease. Recently I used it to drop a 170+ pound boar at 47 yards. The boar screamed but fell where he stood.
If only I still had those .357 wheelies.....

What grips are those? They look like Hogue or Nill but I see they have the ruger emblem in place? I like!

Here are my four Ruger 10/22s and my one Ruger Mark III.
The top 10/22 is a compact which is actually my wife's.

No pictures, but just put a super blackhawk .44 mag with a 3" bbl on layaway, this evening, at Sportsman's Warehouse. I didn't stop in there to buy a firearm, but couldn't leave it there. It will join the others in the safe, but I suspect it will see its fair share of hip time while out hiking .

After doing some checking, I found that Buds offers a better deal on the Super Blackhawk. I cancelled the layaway at Sportsmans, and ordered a Super Blackhawk with a 3 3/4 bbl in .44 mag, and a Talo New Vaquero with the same length barrel and a birdshead grip in .45 Colt, instead.
Factoring in local taxes, it still saves about a hundred fifty bucks.

Just got me a SR40C from my LGS. I didn't get the best deal but I didn't have to drive very far and they had it in the case so I didn't have to wait for it.
Does any body know exactly what this blackened alloy is made of? I guess that an alloy steel from Ruger is better than other companies stainless, dunno.
Anyhow, she ate a full value box of WWB 165gr without any belching and I got to fire off some Underwood 135gr Noslers @ 1500fps. With this Underwood ammo I felt like I was shooting a Glock 29. That stuff is hot!
