I had an HK91, a FN/FAL and a CETME which I got rid of. I wasn't impressed.

I hunt with Winchester Mod 70 308 bolt action. It has killed everything I ever shot at.

I have an M1a and a Saiga 308 to play with. The M1a is awesome. The Saiga is surprisingly accurate and fun to play with. I bought mine back when no one wanted them and they were cheap. Not sure they are worth what they are asking today.

Yup....the 100 ATR. It is an amazing rock solid rifle. The latest version has the adjustable trigger and fluted free floating barrel.

kenpoprofessor, I like the grip on your PTR-91. I'd have kept mine years ago if it had that one.

My second build. I made a mistake when I sold it off. SUCH a cool gun, a perfect urban .308, but it was like getting punched in the sinus and slapped in the face with an ASP at the same time every time I touched off a round.

Replaced it with this.

Oh yeah, and this. Not a .308, but it does have an 8 in it and is MUCH more effective up close.

Since you asked about our .308s, I have a 16" AR10 w/ a 3x ACOG on it. Nice little handy carbine, but a bit out of your price point.

F'ing brutal. Looks like LA. It's a Remington 700 LTR with a Mcree chassis.

M1A, with some mods
Could use 308 in the Rem M700 BDL in 30-06 if I had to. Not recommended, but I know it has worked for others.

As S&P person, I want an AR-10 clone...but I really don't need it. I would also like a dedicated precision bolt action in 308...but again, I don't need it..

As a S&P person I am still looking for a good reasonably priced combo gun, something in 308 would be nice.

As a collector, I would like a FN-FAL and a G3, but just don't want to spend the money.

Just throwing my .02 in. I have a browning a bolt in .308. It is a great gun that I use for hunting. It has a Zeiss Conquest 3.5 x 10 x 44 scope on it. Pretty accurate set up overall.

I have had AR-10's, FAL's and a PTR. Love my PTR91. mags are cheap and the thing just plain works. Love the delayed roller blow back design.

My wife has one we got her when she wanted a center fire rifle that she could learn to hunt with and for the price I am amazed at the quality of the rifle.
