Dear Haters!
Much to your disappointment, I fired 100-plus rounds, for the first time, flawlessly through my G17 Gen4.
Warmly,
Sick

Dear Sick,
I too fired 100 round flawless rounds through my Gen417. When it hit 1000 rounds it started throwing up. It had to go back to Glock for surgery at 1500 rounds because it was throwing up so much. It returned healed; I hope you don't catch the bug, it hits at 800 to 1000 rounds. Good luck.

Glad everything went well in your first 100 rounds. However you will need to fire a lot more rounds before you will know that all is well.

This.
I am sooo not a Glock hater, but my Glock love didn't protect me at all.
There are plenty of Gen 4 9mms that remain trouble free. I thought I had one of them until it hit about 900 rounds. I was never as bold as the OP, but I did post about my love for the perfect ejection of my Gen 4 G17 on several threads...

Good to hear so far your new Glock is running well - hoping that continues.

Congrats on your new 17. I have two Gen 4 G17's, and both have been flawless so far. Both have approximately 1k rounds through them. My Gen 3 G17 has in excess of 20k rounds so these have some catching up to do.

My Gen 4 G17 has now flawlessly fired 1800 rounds of nothing but the finest Russian Brown Bear steel cased ammo....it's all I feed her.

Well that settles it. Gen 4 Glock 17's are perfect!
If a pistol can handle a hundred rounds without breaking, then it just will not ever fail. Nuff said!

That is just one conclusion tht can be drawn. The more important one is that no Glock can fail.
Logical inferrence is a great thing for those who know how to use it.

My newest G19 Gen3 ran perfect for the first 1500 rounds. Now, it's ejecting brass everywhere. Hopefully, I will be able to remedy this soon. This is my only Glock, which has this ejection issue.

I've got a generation 3 Ft Lauderdale police trade in G23. I've put 160 rounds through her. I had no problems because I still own it. I own 9 handguns and they all work fine except one autoloader will FTE Blazer aluminum ammo 50% of the time.

Ooops
I guess my 100-round-a-bit-overzealous post was offensive to some. And my round count laughable. Oh well.
I was just excited, hearing much about the Gen4 failures and what I experienced with my Gen4 19, to have my gun perform flawlessly the first time out. That's all nothing more. Geez, lighten up!
Anyway, I hope it continues to run flawlessly, approaching the 1000-round-plus mark. Thanks for the usual kind words.
Regards,
Sick

Sick,
You'll certainly find haters here, don't worry too much! None of my Glock pistols have ever failed me, I'm trying, though!
