Remington R1 good first 1911?
Would a Remington R1 be a good first 1911? I would like a 1911 that is in the $600-800 range, preferably American made, and kinda traditional looking. A Ruger SR1911 looks like it would fit the bill, but I have yet to actually see one in a store around here. I would like to hold it before buying. R1's are fairly common in the stores we have here.
