I couldn't figure out what you were talking about there, but I see that I definitely butchered what I intended to say. My bad.

Thank you.

Your past posts have been generally moderate, so that would have been pretty shocking.

P.S. to Gunhaver,

What a cool title you gave this thread

I like your posts in this thread. And thank you for your service. The atheism of you and English is a matter of freedom of religion, which I believe God granted every individual, and which our Constitution provides for. As English said (well, I'm going to paraphrase what he said here) in another thread, freedom-loving folks, whether Christian, atheist, or whatever, should be natural allies against the Socialist-Islamist Axis, which is evidently hell-bent on supressing freedom.

When I was in Army Basic training in 1967, I was an agnostic, but volunteered to go to Protestant church service one Sunday anyway. I was curious to compare it with the church services of my boyhood (it was similar), and also wondered if possibly some Christian Drill Sergeant (not that I saw any evidence of such) might give non-church-goers a harder time. That apprehension turned out to be totally groundless; as you said, "religion was purely optional", although in our Company Day Room, I did once find a booklet telling of General George Washington's admonition to his troops not to swear so much (I realized I fell short on that one) and a picture depicting 3 American soldiers praying together during a lull in the action on some battlefield. One of them was a Protestant, one a Catholic, and one, I was surprised to see, was Jewish. That broadened my mind after I thought about it awhile. Israel is on the front lines these days against totalitarian Islamic fascism which, with the collaboration of the treasonous (or at least, useful idiot) Left, does indeed threaten the entire world.

Snowbird I just watched and dvr'ed a show on CNN called Terror In Mumbai that I think you should watch. In spite of it being on CNN it lays out the sequence of mass murder in pretty straight forward fashion. Lashkar-e-Taiba are true scum of the earth. 26 November is the 4 year anniversary of that particular massacre.

Amen.

They are a subset of Islam, which is one of the biggest mistakes humanity has ever made. Today's total of deadly Muslim attacks just since 9/11/01 has now reached 19,986.

I forgot about this one for a few days but don't flatter yourself. Your a blind squirrel at best and it's a statistical impossibility that there wouldn't also be a few nuts rattling in that head full of rocks. Yeah, that motorcycle stunt was pretty over the top and doing more harm than good for the image of Islam so I'm happy to let them dig their own graves.

That doesn't mean that Christianity isn't a much bigger religious force on my particular continent so they will remain my main focus. We almost had a friggin Mormon of all religions running things here. That was a close call.

Tell us again how many Mormons you've counted dragging murder victims behind their motorcycles in SLC?

Islam has murdered 280 million innocents, and counting daily (today's total stands at 20,008 deadly terror attacks just since 9/11/01), while Christianity these past several centuries has murdered NOBODY in the name of Christianity, but leftist dhimmi-you claims 'Christianity is a much bigger religious' threat?
