Nice looking SR40C, I'd like to try one some day. Yes the Underwoods is warm, and seems to be loaded to take advantage of the .40's fantastic efficiency. I know it's legit because I've personally got 135gr at over 1550fps from my G23.

Thanks, I don't feel so bad about not holding out for a G29. But I gotta say, this Ruger feels just as heavy as the G29, I think there is only one or two ounces difference between the pistols. I looked up the weight for both but I got CRS so it doesn't really matter.

Well I've owned a SRH 454, BH 45LC, 357 mag- Currently own a SP101 357mag, P345 and just bought today a 6" GP100 KPG 161 357 mag!!

http://ruger.com/products/gp100/models.html

This GP100 is so much nicer to carry OC then the BH! Feels just as good on the hip as the SP101!

Crappy pic. Had a LC9 too, but traded it for some motorcycle work. These 2 will never go away!

Somebody has a few Rugers They look great though, that last pic of the Redhawk .45 Colt brings back memories. I had one and let it go, which wasn't the brightest move ever.

To many pics to post......

I've got the big bore hog legs, but gave my son the SP101 a while back, and decided I wanted another one, so I got one a few weeks ago. I loaded it up with my hand loads of 125gr XTP's and 21.5grs H110. Sweet. (not responcible for anyone duplicating my hand loads)

Painted the rear "U" black nail polish, and the front side with white nail polis, now these old eyes pick up the sights really fast....

Nice SP101 CM! I had one myself and let it go, but it was my favorite small .357.

Thanks, SDglock23, and bac1023.

I post pics of the big bores so many times "some where on GT," I thought I'd throw 'little bit' in the pot ! haha.

Yeh, as soon as I gave the other SP101 to my son and he drove off with it, I thought Man, I wish I had not done that ! Ha. Actually glad he's got, but I did miss havin it around.

Thanks again guys.. To keep things on track here, I'll toss in a quick Ruger 44 Special Flat Top Pic I have handy...

My Blackhawk in 9mm/.357 I'm most accurate with this gun. I use the 9mm cylinder most of the time.

My first gun was a Ruger P95. Couldn't get through a magazine without several stovepipes. Sent it to Ruger, came back, "fine" according to Ruger. Still junk. Sold it to a guy I didn't like. Wont buy another Ruger. Glad you all had better luck.

Old pic.

The GP100 has a much nicer leather holster nowadays.
