banned weapons list

well .. it here... our illegal president has officially put out a
ban weapon list... i don't remember every weapon he has decided Americans should not own.. but the AR and AK and quite a few pistols that have a capacity of over 6 shot is banned... they can take mine from my cold dead hands... and every one will be EMPTY !!!

I know he's nuts.. but I dont think he could randomly slip banning an AR past us like that..

The article claims that Obama could just make an AWB with an executive order, but I thought that EOs couldn't create new laws? Am I remembering wrong, or is that some fear mongering on the part of the author, or is he misinformed on the powers of an EO?
