Randall Customs
Walked into a shop last night on my way home(Clermont). The guy there asked me if I was looking and then began telling me about a deal he had. Gun wasnt in the shop, but would be there in about a week. Said it is a Randall Customs 1911 and that they wil be selling it at their cost which is 700. Ive tried searching the internet to no luck and for some reason my phone wont let me search the forum. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

Randall was one of the M1911 clone shops way back in the 1970s and 1980s. I think that they were pretty much petered out by the late 1980s. I shot one once and it was OK. Nothing to brag about. The one I shot was a stainless steel model that was much better made than the AMT's version, but if memory served, quality was rather spotty.
I "think" that Randall used to make some leftie version too.

FN is referring to the Randall Firearms Co, about 10,000 guns in several variations 1984-1985. There is some collector interest, boosted by a long section in Blue Book by somebody with connections to get a lot of space there. $700 would be a good price for one in excellent condition.
Now if they have a gun from a gunsmith named Randall dba Randall Customs, that is entirely different. I have not heard of a Randall Customs shop so you are on your own to judge the quality, condition, and desirability.

Randall was among the first to build a 1911 out of stainless steel.

From what Im seeing here and online they are no longer around. Im wanting the best buy I can get. But not sure if this is it.

They haven't been around for nearly thirty years. 
If you have money to burn and wanted a Randall just for giggles then go for it. Otherwise there are a lot better options.
Hell, if you want old school cool then hunt up an old Detonic.

Im going to a new shop on monday to pick up my wifes new carry. Going to see what he can do for me on the 1911
