Nice 9mm faa.
I just finished my 6.8 spc build. Havent scoped it in yet but it shoots great.
I duracoated the stock and magazine and for some reason in the pics it looks a lot lighter than the rest of the FDE but it doesn't look that way in person.

.450 Bushmaster: The lower is a Grizzly Multi-Cal lower (LAR) with an ACE stock, Ergo Grip, Mag-Pul trigger guard, Rock River trigger, Tac-Latch charging handle and Arredondo mag and bolt releases. I used a standard weight Carbine buffer with a custom +25% buffer spring. I put a Ross Comp on the 16" barrel and a Carbon Arms Feather handguard. The gasblock is a Syrac adjustable. It is wearing a 1.5-6 Burris MTAC in a JP one piece mount. The rail on the side of the handguard is temporary for a laser until I get the system I am working on for a light and laser completed. I am running about half the gas volume with the factory loads and it functions sweet and smooth. The syrac's simple adjustment allows me to turn the gas up or down easily and it is very durable. Total weight is 8.1 pounds with optic mounted.

Currently, this is my only non-5.56 rifle, a 9" .300 AAC Blackout setup.
Here is one I used to own: 7.5" Rock River 9mm upper on a Spike's lower.
Also had a 10.5" Rock River 9mm upper, but I sold that as well. Probably should have kept a 9mm upper, but I thought I didn't really need one.

Any time you are in CO, you would be more than welcome to try out the Thumper.
Still searching for the right build for me on the .300 AAC...hopefully by January.

Thanks bud. That's precisely what I built it for. I can't wait to try it out in the field.
I have two stripped lowers in the safe. My wife has decided that she would like to assemble one so that leaves one lower for me.
I've kicked it around alot and I cant stop thinking that I want to build a .204 Ruger ar15. Not really for hunting but for how fast the round is.

Actually, simple is what the new version is all about.
