Barrel Lug Wear?

Guys ...

I'm running a 6" KKM barrel and a 22lbs Wolff Spring. I've noticed some wear on the rear lug that looks odd to me. However, this is my first Glock, so I dont exactly know what normal wear looks like? Anybody out there that can give me an idea?

The gun runs flawlessly ... never a problem.

Kind of hard without seeing picture of the wear. Even though the KKM barrels are drop in some may need a little fitting especially the 6" barrels. Are you running the extended slide as well?

Here's my G29 KKM barrel after about 400 rounds of underwood and 200 rounds of various other brands. I've never had a jam.

From what I'm seeing, I think I'm ok. The area I was worried over was the edge of the rear lug. Here's a pic.

are you running some sort of lube on the lug?
its one of the few points on a glock that should be lubed

I generally give that area a light coat of RemOil. I added arrows to indicate what I'm talking about.

all the kkm's i've had have a little ding on the corner of the rear lug. maybe the metal is softer? maybe oversized and hitting the trigger bar? i dunno. they keep on working though.
