Restricted magazine
The glock 22 I just bought has a 15 round glock magazine. It is marked: RESTRICTED LE/GOVT ONLY. Does this mean I will not be able to use this clip if the new gun law are enforced? The clip has a date of 9.13.94.

It would seem to me that if the magazine was in use, the marking would not be visible...

Those markings are from the last big gun ban. Details and particulars for the one that's being pitched now have yet to be worked out.

As long as your state does not have any ban, you are go to go.
Check out this restricted magazine I scored off Gunbroker
Now if I could find a G18 magazine with the same Restricted in USA stamp on it.....

The 380 magazine has ribs and has no place for markings.

I have a Sigma 16 round mag from the 94-04 ban stamped the same way.

I live in CA with the 10rd limit. Even if you have one larger (e.g.;15rd) you can limit it to 10rds with a rivet and epoxy and it's now a 10rd and legal.

During the AWB of 94 to 04, all Glock magazines outside of the U.S. that held over 10rd's, were marked with the "Restricted in USA" stamp.
I paid $27 for it off gunbroker.com Did I get lucky? Absolutley.
I don't know if anyone else marked their magazines that way. Sig, HK, Beretta, etc......

I have a bunch of Sig, Beretta, Glock and Hi Power mags like that.
I also have a couple of Colt lowers with that stamped on the magwell.
Just a reminder of what can happen here...

That's what I was thinking. Since it has a production date on it. That would show it was a pre whatever they decide to do magazine.

You should be alright as long as you don't live of take the magazine to NY, NJ, CA, IL, DC, MD and a few other gun angry States.
BTW we don't like the word clip here either when referring to Glocks.

I have a brand new 33rd "Restricted" 9mm mag. Never been inside a gun, never been fired. I can post pics when I get home, if anyone wishes.

NOW I noticed the top magazine in your picture.
I do not have any mags stamped like that, ARs either.

I have a few of the LE/GOV ONLY mags. Also my G22 has SUMPTER POLICE DEPARTMENT engraved on the slide. No I'm not a LEO.
