Does anyone know of a good place to buy cheap 8mm mauser ammo? My kar 98 is tired of not being able to go to the range with the rest of the guns because the ammo is $2. a round. I tried to order some from J&G sales but they flubbed my order so I ordered 200 rounds from sportsmens club and they sent me a email saying they are back ordered until may 15th.
All the good 8mm surplus is gone as far as I can tell. What is left is really old and hit-and-miss on quality/reliability. Have you considered just buying some brass and reloading? If you already have a press, the 8mm is pretty straightforward.
