I looked at the Kimber Solo, LC9, Nano, and Kahr CM9...

I have been pocket carrying the CM9 for over a year now and love it. I have a nice PJ Holster for IWB too.

I have no issues carrying this nice little pistol.

I've had mine for about a month now and have about 150 rds through it and it does everything I expected it to do. All the ads that I see say it comes with 2 six round mags. however mine came with a 6 rd. and a extended 8 rd. mag. Is this something new?

I have had mine for 2-1/2 months now. 200 rounds plus. Had a few FTE with Winchester WHite Box, but with self defense rounds or higher quality ammo no issues. Great accurancy. At first I was low left, but after getting use to the trigger ect, it was a little bit more accurate than my Glock 19. I carry it almost every day now.

The new ones do come with a 6 & 8 round mags. Mine had 2 6 rnds and I bought an 8 rnd online.

Neat gun, great accuracy and easy field stripping and some still available at a decent price. I enjoy mine.
I say go for it.

Bumping this thread back up.
I just bought a Nano in O.D. for CCW.
Took her out and shot about 200 rnds of mixed types of ammo through her.
I only had about ten rounds of CCI aluminum case 115 gr ammo. I mixed some ammo together in the eight round mag and it ran through it all. 115 gr, 147 gr jhp reloads. 124 gr fmj, 124 gr jhp's and I wiped all the oil out of the gun before I shot it.
After it heated up about 6 mags through it I had one fte on the cci aluminum cased ammo.
Its a great little shooter and it fits in the same don hume iwb holster they sell for a G19 or G26.
I was having all kinds of problems concealing my 19 since its warmed up.
I wa swearing a T shirt with an open button up work shirt and I could see the handle poking out in the front carry position and I would move it to the 5 o clock position and same. The Nano I can wear a T shirt and I forget its there.

I have yet to have any issues out of mine. I have yet to field strip it to clean it and I'm over 500 hundred rounds of 115 grain s&b and cci blazer. I shot it in my last Idpa bug match with the cci with zero issues. It continues to be my #1 edc.

Just received my Beretta Nano yesterday. I snapped a couple of quick photos with the new Beretta Nano next to my beloved Glock 30SF .45 ACP.

Beretta Club
Beretta Club

Yes this is a small handgun (well at least compared to my Glock 30SF).

Field stripping the Beretta Nano for cleaning and lubrication is as simple as it sounds in the owners manual. First make sure the handgun is UNLOADED. Then on the right rear corner of the frame is a hole with a pin inside of it. When this pin is depressed it releases the striker decocking the action. No special tools are needed and the point of a ball point pen works for this operation. Once the striker is released (decocked) the take down screw located on the right side of the frame slightly in front of and above the trigger is turned counter clockwise (approximately 1/4 turn) you will hear a click. At that time the slide assembly can be slid forward off of the frame.

I cleaned the bore and internal parts of the frame and slide. I then put a light film of white lithium grease on the outside of the barrel and on the slide rails on the grip frame. Reassembly is super simple, with the barrel and recoil spring reassembled in the slide the slide is simply slid onto the grip frame. When the slide is fully retracted to the rear the take down screw is automatically rotated back to it's locked position.

I had a few minutes to myself today so I ran to the city dump and fired off a 37 rounds through the new Beretta Nano. 35 rounds of this ammo was CCI Blazer Aluminum Cased 115gr. FMJ and two rounds were Winchester Supreme Personal Defense +P 124gr. PDX1 JHP's. I have read on the net that until they are broken in properly the Beretta Nano's can be picky with ammo, especially 115gr. Range Ammo (cheap ammo that is) that can and do cause failures to eject. In my mind I was wondering if some of this was due to improper lubrication and or limp wristing the Nano.

I used both the 6 rd and 8 rd magazines (topping off the magazines after I racked the first round into the chamber each time). All in all I was quite pleased. Empties were ejected quite nicely a few feet to the right and slightly behind me. I never experienced any malfunctions what so ever with the two different loads I shot today. The Winchester Supreme Personal Defense +P 124gr. PDX1 JHP's did produce slightly noticeable more recoil. No I did not shoot at a target but rather was shooting at intimate objects at the dump. With a long DA type of trigger pull I had to concentrate or I would shoot slightly to the right (which was odd as with Glocks if I rush my shots I typically shoot low and left).

All in all my first experience shooting the new Beretta Nano 9mm was quite impressive. With a little luck I can get away this weekend and maybe put a box of two of ammo through it in a better environment with actual targets.

The Nano certainly seems like a great option for the price. Its generallyv less expensive than the Shield and certainly the XDs.

I ordered a K Holster for my Beretta Nano but it has not arrived as yet. I am hoping it gets here next week.

I did some chronographing with my Beretta Nano today. The results are as follows:

9mm
3.07" Beretta Nano
124gr. Winchester +P PDX1
Date = 7-13-13
Temperature = 81 degrees
Velocity
1st Shot 1169
2nd Shot 1139
3rs Shot 1145
4th Shot 1152
5th Shot 1164
Average 1154
Spread 30
Deviation 7.14

9mm
3.07" Beretta Nano
115gr. CCI Blazer FMJ
Date = 7-13-13
Temperature = 81 degrees
Velocity
1st Shot 1133
2nd Shot 1109
3rs Shot 1126
4th Shot 1125
5th Shot 1131
Average 1125
Spread 24
Deviation 5.57

9mm
3.07" Beretta Nano
115gr. Federal FMJ
Date = 7-13-13
Temperature = 81 degrees
Velocity
1st Shot 1097
2nd Shot 1075
3rs Shot 1093
4th Shot 1106
5th Shot N/A
Average 1093
Spread 31
Deviation 5.92

9mm
3.07" Beretta Nano
115gr. Rem / UMC JHP
Date = 7-13-13
Temperature = 81 degrees
Velocity
1st Shot 1046
2nd Shot 1040
3rs Shot 1048
4th Shot 1047
5th Shot N/A
Average 1045
Spread 8
Deviation 3.32

I went out this afternoon and chronographed 4 different 9mm loads through my new Beretta Nano 9mm. The Remington 115gr. JHP only has 4 velocity readings as that was all of that ammo I had. The Federal 115gr. FMJ only has 4 velocity readings as my second shot was an error reading. I then cleared the chronograph and started again.

The Chronograph is a M1 Shooters Chrono with remote readout that was set 12 feet from the muzzle. As noted the temperature was 81 degrees with a partly overcast sky.

I was really surprised at some of the velocities obtain through the short barrel while a couple were what I expected.

I paid $375.00 plus shipping & ffl fees for mine. If I remember right it ended up just under $450.00 by the time all was said and done.

I reload for my Nano as well. Just curious what your COAL are measuring and whether you've encountered any failures to extract. I found that if I keep my COAL less than 1.115, I have no problems regardless of the bullet type. However if I go above 1.115, I get problems with Ranier 124 gr PHP, MG 124 gr PHP, etc. However factory ammo...I've not had any problems with a variety of rounds including Hornady CD, which is what I am closest to in my velocities.

Thanks.

Had mine for awhile now also. I pocket carry everyday at work and I'm very active for about 8 hours straight with no problems. I work outdoors and I'm very mobile in Dickies type pants. No problems at the range either, during break in I had about 5 fte's in 228 rounds of mixed gr, ball, hp ammo. the fte's happend with the cheap dirty low powered 115 wwb. The other 115 gr brands, federal, American eagle, independence, pmc, functioned fine. What I like best about the modular grip besides color options is if and when it gets worn/damaged etc, it can be replaced. Been waiting for the 8rnd mags to be availbe either at my lgs or BUSA's site and they just became so. Love that holster BLau, I will be looking into that. I'm currently pocket carrying in a Remora pocket holster with no complaints.

just secured a lightly used Nano with 6 mags...6 rounders x 4 and 8 rounders x 2 for $325; I'm not sure it was fully broken in yet...had 1 failure to feed and 1 failure to extract with 100 rounds of Remington UMC 115gr fmj's during my first session with it; cleaned & lubed it, ran 50 rounds of Federal American Eagle 115gr fmj and 3 different hollowpoint loads thru it without another problem...Speer Gold Dot 115gr x 20 rounds, Speer Gold Dot 147gr x 20 rounds, and Remington Golden Saber 124gr x 25 rounds

I've seen the dimensions posted online; I'd like to actually handle one and determine if they'd pocket carry for me.

I been carrying my Nano all summer and I switched to my G19 one day when we had cooler weather and I cant believe I carried that hog around. The Nano is so much more comfortable to me to carry. I would like to see them come out in 45 acp, screw the 40 cal.
