Good choice. Hopefully some .22 will start flowing soon.

Great pistol! I've had mine for a couple years. I recommend a hi-viz front sight and the Clark customs hammer bushing. It gets rid of the mag safety, makes dis-assembly easier as there is no need to have a mag, and it improves the trigger a bit too.

Very nice. 22/45 is great little piece. Only thing I hate is that black plastic grip it came out of factory with.

Great little guns
I've got a MK3 hunter that's a ball to shoot. Saying that I'm in your boat as we haven't had bulk packs of 22lr around here for over a month. I haven't been shooting nearly as much through mine as I usually do as I'm down to my last few thousand rounds.
Enjoy!
And when you're ready to do the bushing mod or dump the LCI there are a bunch of great threads on the Ruger forums or pretty much anywhere MKs are talked about.

Can't go wrong with a Buckmark either
Super accurate and a ton of fun (I have a camper with cocobolo grips along with a MK3)

Congrats! I've had a MKIII Target for a year and its been nothing but fun. Put a red dot on there and it's a real tack driver.
Don't worry once supply catches back up with demand .22 ammo will be available again, give it a month or two.

Very nice buy. And they usually aren't picky on ammo, though I usually stick to CCI Mini Mags.

I was at Academy Sunday afternoon and they are applying the single box rule to the little box of 100 LR. At least you can buy a little.
