Israeli AR magazines. Cheap.
Made in Israel. Probably good quality then. Just got E-mail saying that my order was shipped.

I almost ordered some of those from the Mako Group a few weeks ago. Please post back with your opinions of them. I signed up for email notification at several online stores a few weeks back and got quite a few alerts last week. Wound up getting a 10 pack of D&H 30 round GI mags from Bravo Company. They had a reasonable price and shipped the next day.

I've seen a couple of reviews on these magazines, and neither one was favorable. One of them was done by a poster in the Black Rifle Forum here on GT (where this thread really should have been posted), and he ran into some issues with the one he purchased.

over on military arms channel review was good, he said they fed very well. When full, wouldnt seat on closed bolt.No biggie, on open bolt 100 precent. They ran very well. Said pmags were a lot better but since those are like 65 bucks the israeli elandders are way to go. Mine should come soon.

I read a few reviews like that on a couple AR15 forums but most thought they could be trusted for range magazines.

The price isn't bad at all, but the $5.50 per magazine shipping is a scam. $5.50 is fine if you ordered one, but they multiply that each with no sliding scale. If you order 30 that's $165 shipping charge for something that probably cost less than $30 to ship.

So how much is the shipping?
I started an order for six mags but they show the shipping as $33. That's a deal breaker for me.

They will refund most of that money.
Flat rate box has set shipping price not matter what the weight is. If six mags fit into $5.50 box that is going to be your shipping cost.

I bought 10 back in December from the Mako Group. My shipping was only about $17.00. No range report yet. My Question to whoever said they would not seat when fully loaded is which mags do load when fully loaded and the bolt is forward?
The 20 rounders have a slight curve in then, unlike USGI and Pmags.
These seem like good mags. I will post a range report soon.

I have a number of different brands.
Some are hard to seat fully loaded, some not so bad.
I've taken to loading 29 rounds in all the 30 round mags.

Got mine today. Stupid USPS left a box at the gate to soak in the rain. UPS and FedEx put package in the plastic bag. Why do we need USPS anyway? To bring me bills and junk mail?
Shipping was $13.75 for ten mags.
Looks very well made. Almost as well as Fusils. Locking hole is stamped not cut. Follower does not tilt. Locks on closed bolt with a little bit of tap from the bottom. The only thing I do not like is that they are too darn shiny.
If weather was not as miserable as it is I would run down the road and use couple of them to give you range report.

If you buy from the MAKO group there should be a shipping code, think it's arfcom and any order over $99 ships free using the code. Saw some good reviews on them at ar15.com.

Just got 6 Mako mags today. They look nice. May be a while before I get to try / test them, though.

If you've already ordered you've probably found out, but for other buyers, my shipping ended up being 85% refunded. So it wasn't a bad deal.

since a Fobus holster came apart after a week of use, I don't buy anything made in Israel.
