Seems more like they are buying EVERYTHING this time.
380 and 40S&W are even gone.
I did see about 1,800 rounds of 10mm on the shelf the other day
I was lucky and ready this time

Honestly I can go down right now and buy(i saw them on the counter when I got my 9mm ammo the other day and yes they had a bunch of that also) 7+ bricks probably more as I said 7 was what they had on the counter..was almost $30 though that was the ONLY bad part. Other bad part was 4 of the 7 were that damn(and I cant stand it and would ONLY use it if I HAD to) Golden Bullet stuff...ive never had more feeding problems and duds than with that brand/type... They didnt have any of my go to stuff which is CCI so I honestly may be stuck with the damn Remington garbage.
Last year I could get a brick for $23-27 depending on brand...now I see its gonna be $30

My LGS still has plenty of this Federal for $20/box. I'm glad they haven't ran out of inventory or jacked up the price yet.
They also have some Winchester stuff too for the same price, but I like this Federal better.

At Walmart now. No .22lr. Limiting to 3 box purchase per day. Luckily, they had some 9mm and I was able to replace what I shot a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe you got a bad batch of Remington Golden Bullets, because I've shot a whole case of them recently and had zero issues. I cannot remember my SR22, MKIII or 10/22 having a problem with Golden Bullets.

Those golden bullets used to be complete garbage.
The "new and improved" ones are apparently okay

My 10/22s, Ruger MkII, Buckmark and Walther P22 like them just fine. My M&P15-22s refuse to eat them though. I have good luck with Federal bulk in those.
