I was actually looking for this gun in .45 but they had the 9mm in stock - quoted me 1229.00 cash.

Isn't that a little high, even with all the gun ban talk? I saw on HK's website that retail is 1168.00. Are those guns so "in demand" that they are bringing list plus?

Not exactly sure about the price, but I do believe the 9mm version is harder to come by.

with the gun ban scare prices for guns, espeically stock threaded hk's are going up by 50-100%. Mark23's which original pricese were 1800 are going for 2500-3000 dollars right now! its a crazy time to be buying guns, espeically anything tatical. Hell I meet someone which wants 6k for an ar15 with 4X30 round mags. Serioulsy, he though he could get it off me and it didn't even have any type of optics or anything speical. stock ar-15 basically for 6k!

if you cant afford the 60 bucks increase in price, you just cant afford it right now man. perhaps you can look in to a hk45.

If I were planning to mount a suppressor on it, I might buy it.

If not, then I think the price is too high. I would go with a standard USP at a lower price.

It really depends on what are your plans for it.
