glock 10 rd mags for the 19 and 17

a question for those who have to use 10 rd glock mags. here in the peoples republic of md well they are trying to go with 10 rd mags. anyone have any ideas on how they work in the 17 and 19. i have others but i was curious.
during the clinton ban a friend gave me a couple of 10 rd ones for my 19. i tried them just to see how they worked and they jammed the gun on the last rouond at times. i called glock at that time and they said they were aware of the problem butr had no fix for it something with the follower used i seem to remember.
are they any better now or does the same problem exist.
so what say you folks.

The cure for the older 10-round 9mm mags is a 9mm-3 follower.

I haven't tried any of the 10 round 9mm magazines, but I have two 10 round glock 23 magazines that function flawlessly.

Used my uncles 17 with 10 rd mags in like 5 glock matches plus prob 1000 rounds practice and never had a malfunction. Theyre old and have prob been dropped in the dirt hundreds of times too.

I agree with Danny here, the issue with the 10 rounders is the 2183 folowers with the "bump" in the back. I have had several issues with these and when I use standard mags in the same guns they are problem free. If you call Glock they might send you some replacements. Just don't tell them you have 60 mags that need new followers, they only send you 6.

Here in NewYorkistan 10's are the norm and now that they have banned our Preban hi caps it's all we will have. I have run mostly 10's as I didn't want to wear out my 20 year old prebans and I have had good luck with them. Glocks were afterall designed to run on full capacity mags so I would think they are inherently more reliable but in my experience 10's have run well.

My 10rd 17 mags have been flawless for 10 years and tens of thousands of rounds.
As I go through life I keep coming to the same conclusion, people are generally stupid.
