There is very little info around on the Glock serial number prefix MD. I owned a 2nd Gen G-19 ser# MD750US, and curiosity has me looking around. Did I sell a gem (other than a Gen2 G19 itself) of some sort? Somebody tell me it was a 1988 special order of 1, hand tenifered by ol Gaston himself...
MA - G-19 - January 1990 - 2nd Gen. - Philippines
MC - G-20 - July 1990 - 2nd Gen. - First G-20s
ME - G-19 - March 1990 - 2nd Gen.
MG - G-19 - March 1990 - 2nd Gen.
MK - G-19 - April 1990 - 2nd Gen.
ML - G-19 - May 1990 - 2nd gen.
Right, seems like everything but. It's certainly an early 90 model, but why are there no refrences- dare I say anywhere? There must be people with, or prior owners of, an MD prefix pistol. Would you kind folks please go ask your mom/ uncle/ fellow tupperware owner, what his/her prefix is? Thanks!

I really can't help you but I use to have a Gen 2 Glock 19 with a MD prefix. I sold it about 4 months ago. It was a great Glock but nothing special. I think the born on date was in the early 1990's.
Just re-read my original post... sorry, I knew the born date (FEB-90?), but I just have not found any referances to the MD prefix. Don't know that this is significant in any way. Qurious. Two Guns is the first person I've ever heard mention having one other than myself.
Two Guns- I once had twin 2nd Gen G19s. Spent alot of fednotes on ammo for a while! Fun times.
