I know you're correct... (it's my assumption - BUT my son is a PHD Scientist. I'll ask him to mass spec them

BOO, I'm a retired Rocket Scientist. Sent some folk to the moon. I also had several mass specs.
But, sorry, I don't know your son, you're right about that.

I had never given it any thought, I agree with some previous posts. Reload starter kit.

Yep. The last few purchases I've made had aluminum cases included.

Agree, best comment of the year!!! I thought it was so funny I didn't even notice the misspelling.
As to non-brass cases...
-I asked Glock, when I was in the test firing ranges and mag reloading rooms down in Smyrna why they choose the rounds they choose and the answer was simply: cost.
edit to add original statement: Every baby Glock has to have a bowel movement before they will let it come home from the hospital.

And there I thought the first guy was being sarcastic.
Yeah spelling has never been my strong suit, but I'm glad my comment got at least a chuckle or two.
Seriously though, Glock's "Inspector 12" puts those in there.
Dont question it, and dont eat the box of Chicklets they send you with your stereo either.

Glock used black powder and round balls, loaded with a ramrod, until they were required to supply 2 fired cases, with each gun. That cut into their profit margin and I reckon steel or aluminum cases are just cheaper than brass.

The two cases are to show you proof that they only fired the gun twice, only one of which was auto-loaded by the gun, and therefore the gun was not tested enough for them to even have the slightest idea if it really works right, or if it's going to be another jam-o-matic slapped together by a monkey from parts that didn't fit together properly - as some Glocks are - unfortunately.
The gun isn't really tested until you fire at least 100 rounds through it yourself.
