G21 Gen 2

Old guy here, shooting for 40+ years, but new to Glock. Just picked up the 21 this morning and went straight to the range. I bought a 36 last week, but did not enjoy shooting it. My LGS swapped it for the 21, it had very little wear, no box and one 13 rd mag. He gave me 2 more used 10 rounders and a box of range ammo, fair I think. First 75 rds. were dead on with very mild recoil, then started to FTRB, but a slingshot chambered a round. I guess I was getting fatigued, either hitting the slide release or limp wristing. I wondered if the recoil spring could be weak, but I don't think it would have been flawless for the first 75.
Anyway, it's a keeper, I really liked the look of the Gen 2 to go with accuracy and mild recoil.
I think this the first many Glocks, to go with my M&P's.

My first Glock was a Gen 2 G21. Still have it. Great shooter and one of the best .45's out there. Sounds like you might want to try a new RSA (recoil spring assy).

I vote, also, for the new RSA. You should be good to go.

Also just get the factory one. IMO you don't need a fancy aftermarket one. Factory is just fine.
