Here is a comparison between the RIA 10mm and the “TANK” S&W 1006 10mm barrel.

When I gauged the barrels the RIA was thicker just by a little.

lol, I thought I was done this year (that's what I told my wife) but when you posted the RIA 10mm, it kept calling my name. This make my 13 to 14 buy this year, I lost count. I keep telling myself "I am not a collector!"

If I was you I would buy now, not sure how long they will last.

It will after frames start cracking.

What do you expect, it's a low cost 10mm 1911.
High quality materials, machining & finish costs money!

I sent an email to Armscor RIA asking about +p or +p+ ammo. I'll see what they say.

As for the frame cracking, they do have a life time warranty. Not sure about their customer service personally but have read some post that said it was great.

The possibility of frame cracking is very real, but not an issue
for concern.

Armscor is known for their great customer service. If it's ever needed.

Hope no one has gotten the wrong idea.
I am not RIA bashing, just being skeptical, as always, with a new
pistol being brought to the market.

I fully under stand where you are coming from. I too am skeptical being the first 10mm they brought to market. If it shoots well then it should be a good buy for the price.

They do have the reputation of a good 1911 for the price so I hope that also spills over into the 10mm build.

In the end, you will end up with it either being fine or fixed (if needed). Either way, while others are waiting to get one down the road when all the kinks are worked out, you can do the same while you enjoy this one in the meantime. For the price and the reputation of RIA's CS, it is well worth it to get one now and maybe one (updated version) later. You did good.

Thanks seed! Just got back from the range and there are some kinks to work out. I'll post in a new thread.

Get to posting homie! I just bought one of these today. Don't tell me you're having issues right out of the gate.
