Have a couple of Burris Fullfield's that have provided years of dependable service. On sits atop my old Ruger .243 and another on my Thompson Encore in .308. Both seem to be well designed and hold their zero even after a few hundred rounds fired. No fogging issues and they let in enough light for early dawn late dusk shots.
Good luck with your Bushnell Elite. The one I owned was okay for a short while and they started to lose zero after a few rounds of .308 from my Thompson. Outwardly it was a great scope, but I may have gotten a bad copy. A friend bought it from me knowing the issue. It seems to work well topping his AR. It just did not agree with me.
