22lbs , parang roadbike yan a, ang gaan
At my weight and the terrain sa backyard volcano namin , di ako pwede sa lightweight bike
Parati bali sakin ang rayos, and tires have to be more than 40psi or nafafflat
My old mtb weighted 40lbs hehe

anyone here from marinduque or mindoro?
Safe ba mag bike around the island?

I've looked all over for a large reign/trance from cartimar , lifecycles etc
Wala, puro medium at small
Found the Niner sa alabang , pinaestimate ko aabot ng 200k! ( xt gruppo )
to think my original plan was to get a 20k hardtail hehe
punta muna ako gay bar , magbebenta muna ako ng aliw

Gusto ko kasi all mountain frame pards
5 or 6 inch travel
If I can get an all mountain frame na large I'd prefer a 26 though
Since wala makuha , baka mag 29
Di pako maka decide
Ride muna ng ride

we started last year....

still biking.

we did a manila to mindanao RORO trip, bikes on car rack, occasionally stopping and biking to explore trails.

went through batangas, mindoro, iloilo, bacolod, dumaguete, dapitan, cotabato, and then davao.

most harrowing was 18km rough road stretch through some mountainous area of zanorte, napasubo talaga kami, the roads started out asphalted pero sa entrada lang pala.

distance covered on land combined bike and car about 1250kms (on bike alone mga 350kms lang), distance covered by boat about 220kms, total weight lost == 0 lbs. we eat like starved hogs, sampling what's good in every town we visit. the paklay in in a town before dumaguete is just fantastic!

oh yeah, we toyed with the idea of doing bikes all the way but we decided to bring a support vehicle, we're not that fit. hehe

yeah pag puno ang boat, sorry wait for the next one, and ang gulo ng systema...after batangas pier (which was convenient and very systematic) be ready for a most confusing experience as you go to a different office to pay arastre, then coastguard, then the boat fare, and the haphazard way they load you into the boats.

The last time nag roro ako , some misguided soul wrapped a 5inch nail in cloth and stuck it under my wheel
Pag akyat sa taas , all the people where sleeping on the benches walang maupuan
Buti nalang they move pag siniksik mo
Some of my friends slept inside their cars down below w/ the engine and a/c open
Curious ako if they'd get monoxide poisoning pero hindi naman
