Tell you the truth, I used to be more of a traditionalist about that, until I opened up my eyes and gave one a chance. Sig got the external extractor right, it works and works 100%.

I have a Sig 1911 STX. It's a great gun. I'm a huge Sig fan, have owned several and never had any issues with any of them. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any Sig. Thats just my opinion. Here's my Ugly sig, and my pretty Rock.
