Rws 56

Been giving my new RWS 56 in .22 a workout the last few weekends at the outdoor range where I shoot. Although I am a reloader, components have been very hard to get. I have a good supply laid in, but think I will hang on to loaded powder burner rounds to shoot this spring/summer.
Not many people come to the club during the cold Indiana winters.
I have gotten my groups down to about 1.3 inches at 50 yards but know I can do better.
the rifle weighs a ton, and is best shot off a rest bag. The is my first high end springer, and so far its been a treat to shoot.
Any other winter air gun shooters out there?

My shooting range today was snow covered, but the sun was out and there was very little wind.
Just for giggles, I tried by RWS out at 100 yards, not really expecting much.
I managed to shoot a 3 shot group at just a little over 2".
I was amazed. Not at my "skills" but the fact that a spring air powered rifle was capable of this kind of accuracy at 100 yards.
I did have about a 6" drop from point of aim.
I was able to pound a soft drink can from that distance.

Nice! I've been thinking seriously about a decent airgun.
