"BOULDER AIRLIFT"
PMAGs for Coloradans
During this period of high demand, and with the possibility of pending state legislation, we at Magpul are taking steps to ensure that responsible Colorado residents who want to own standard capacity magazines have the opportunity to do so. To meet this need, we have set up a process for CO residents to purchase limited quantities of magazines from our website.
In order to participate in this program, go to: http://store.magpul.com/member_register
Create your login account and click the “Register” button to submit. Once you receive a “Membership Confirmation” e-mail, forward it to ColoradoPMAGS@magpul.com with your name, the email used to sign up for the account, and your CO address.
BOTH YOUR BILLING AND SHIPPING ADDRESSES MUST BE IN COLORADO!
Once we verify your CO residency (this process can take up to a week due to the large quantities of emails we receive) you will be added to an authorized Special Purchase group, which will allow you to purchase select magazines from a limited access section of our website. You will then receive a notification e-mail stating that you have been added to this group, and instructions for placing your order will be included.
If you already have a login account at Magpul.com, please just send an e-mail to ColoradoPMAGS@magpul.com including your name, the email used to sign up for the account, and your CO address, then the process will proceed as above.
NOTE: WE CANNOT SHIP 30 ROUND MAGAZINES TO ADDRESSES WITHIN DENVER DUE TO THE EXISTING CITY BAN.
All sales are subject to our normal compliance checks.

Just got verified as a CO resident, and placed my order.
Thanks for the heads up.

Just FYI the original post stated a limit of 10 AR/M4 mags, but I ordered 5 gen3, 5 gen2, 5 gen2 windows and 5 AK 47 MAGS.
Only 5 of each allowed, but 20 total. $12.95 to $19.95 each.

Those .308 mags are for the LR308 platform. Won't work in an AK47.

I see on the website that there are the Gen 3, Gen 2 Window, Gen 2 Windowless, and the
PMAG ® 20LR, 7.62x51 Magazine – SR25/M110
How did you order AK mags? I am not interested in them, but hoping that you have a way to order something other than those 4 (I would like 5 Gen 3 - 20 rounders).
I am wavering on buying the 308 mags. I have no use for them, but might be able to trade them off before this summer for something I need.

Those mags are for the DPMS pattern AR10 (careful though, the actual AR10 is a different pattern) which is the LR308. There are several rifles that fit this pattern and it is a slightly more popular version of the .308 AR platform so that's why Magpul made mags for them. I've got some and they work just as well as their 5.56 brothers. I would like to see something with the options of the newer generation Pmags but I won't get too picky since the other options SUCK. I had a custom LR308 sitting in a safe for years waiting for these mags to come out since the DPMS mags were JUNK and the system was worthless with them. I was going to sell it and give up until a little birdie told me these .308 mags were in the works. Glad I kept it and waited patiently because she sings like a champ now!
Tell your buddy to try to find some US Palms AK47 magazines as those are about the closest thing to a Pmag for the AK47 platform currently. I've been rocking them for years now and they're amazing. But they were lower production compared to Pmags and difficult to get your hands on even before all this madness so it won't be easy. Well worth the effort though.

Just to be clear, does the Colorado law ban possession or only sale?

Okay, thanks. So basically, this means a longer drive to the gun store for enthusiasts.

The law attempting to be passed will have a "turn in" period for magazines. After that perido, they will be illegal. Hope nobody turns them in either way, you would have to be nuts to do so.

If you're talking about the CO bills that is not the case. There will be no 'turn-in' period nor will they be illegal to own. They're grandfathering in anyone who currently owns them but the buy/sale/trade of them past the date the law becomes effective (July 1st at this point) would be illegal. Importing them into state lines will also be illegal. It's a relatively unenforceable law to this point but once it's passed they will make it 'easier' to enforce and continue the erosion of our rights... one piece at a time.
