Colt gas tube diameter?

Done a LOT of searching on the web and can't find an answer.

I wanna buy a YHM gas block with flip-up sight since I"ll be springing for an optic soon. The YHM gas block has a .750 bore diameter for the gas tube. Is this the standard size gas tube for all carbine-length ARs? Specifically my 6920.

I just don't wanna go through the hassle of ordering an expensive part to get it home and find out its the wrong size.

Thanks in advance.

i think the .750 bore diameter is referring to the outside diameter of your barrel, not anything to do with the hole for the gas tube.

The .750 is the size of the barrel it will fit. I believe there are two other sizes, one a .625 and the bull barrel at .936.

The .750" YHM flip/gasblock will fit your 6920 barrel.

Gas tube diameters are standardized. Barrel diameter is the concern as others stated above.

You'll like it. I just put one on mine and it works and looks great.
