That's a beautiful FDE 45ACP Glock. It's good to see that the beaver tail back straps are shipping with the new pistols now. I hope they ship some with the Gen4 G30 eventually.
How is the slide different from what you expected; different in color and/or texture?

thanks for the info guys. I might end up picking up something smaller after I get the G19 so I will have options depending on if its summer or winter and where Im going.
I live in Illinois and we DONT have CC here. Im hoping that will change soon.
I signed up for a Utah and Florida CC class that will allow me to CC in 31 states so I want to pick up a few smaller handguns for when I can CC. Right now I own a Beretta M9 and Sig 226 Enhanced Elite .40 so I want smaller and lighter handguns for CC

The 22 is my first dark earth Glock. They also had a gen 4 21 in Dark earth but I had my heart set on the .40 caliber.

Man, you got lucky. Because Ive been calling all LGS and some out of state, called glockmeister...nothing They do have a 19c on their site but is on backorder. The regular glock 19 model isnt even in the options on their site

Congrats!
It seems Glock shipments are getting out the factory as I see in my area.
I saw FDE Gen4 G21 in two different LGS this week.
BTW, my Gen4 G30 did not come with beaver tails.

I use to cc a g19 and had no issues. I carried while driving from Ohio to Texas in a crossbreed and it was very comfortable, sometimes I forgot it was there. I have a g32 now which is the same size and carry owb with no issues either

The length of a pistol -- within reason -- doesn't seem to affect ease of carrying it concealed. The thickness of the pistol seems to be the most important dimension for carrying. In this regard, all Glock sizes are the same; in a given caliber, they're all the same thickness.

Agreed. Plus, it is not like these are collector's items, they can't pump these things out fast enough so I think it will be many, many, many years before something like this would matter to anyone.

It's smoother and flatter than my other gen 3 & 4's
Gun shop owner explained to me that Glock's process changed for coating their slides as of late 2012.

I just wanted to contribute to the thread. Right now, Impact Guns online has the Glock 19 gen 4 for sale and price is right! Grab one if you need one and good luck.

Nice launching platform for the .45ACP

I CC the G19 all the time. The only time I have problems is when I wear gym shorts in the summer. I will be picking up a LCR or a j frame when it gets warmer/i have more money but if you wear cargo shorts w a good gun belt it should be fine.
If you can get your hands on a 26 before a 19 do it! If you cant the 19 is 90% as concealable at the 26. Most people put an extended pinky grip on the end of their 26 which makes it almost identical in size to the 19. I would not worry about it. Get a supertuck or minatour holster and ur all set!
Hope i helped

The G19 is a great CC weapon and you should have no problem carrying it IWB. I carry my G19 sometimes but my main CCW is a G29sf. The G19 feels like a mouse gun compared to my G29sf IWB.

I CC my G19 or G23 all the time (every day) no problem.
Don't even know it's there.

Any Online Store that Takes GSSF Coupons?
Anybody knows if there's any online store that sells blue label Glocks and takes GSSF coupons? My local stores are not accepting new orders at this time, and I feel like I'm running out of options.
